After school it was Peri’s turn to be in front of the camera. For anyone who knows her they know she has the goofiness of her Daddy and Uncle Josh, her energy and passion for design from her mommy and her recent interest in photography from her Auntie Boog. She is such a cutie! Here are some of the pics from the photo shoot. I hope you get a kick out of them like we did.
We ended up partying at the Paine’s house the day before New Years Eve and boy did we have fun.
Everyone got together to play the game dirty Santa wich ended up being the same thing as the white elephant gift exchange.
After Dirty Santa it was onto another game of Canadian Christmas, go Madi go. This time we were all competing for a gift card to the Cheesecake Factory yummmm….

Before we left the party Irene Paine gave Peri her first Piano lesson, I must say Peri did extremely well.
So the day after Christmas we woke up to a winter wonder land.SNOOOOOOOOOOW. After telling our parents and rubbing it in we all got into our snow close and headed out side to play.
Every one had snow pants but Jade instead she had a pair of leggings and two pairs of jeans on.

Aaron and I woke up to the pitter patter of little feet walking down the stairs, The little culperate was trying to case the joint and check out the loot before the rest of us woke up. Hahaha…
Daddy was downloading some songs onto Jades new iPod shuffle, yahoo.
Peri got a house for her barbies that ended up being taller than her. Lucky kid all I got when I was her age was a box and made my own barbie house. hehehe
After serveing the damage I came to the conclusion that the girls kept the house pretty clean.

After opening our presents and getting our Starbucks we were off to celebrate Christmas with my friend Clara and her in-laws.

At the end of the night we all went to the movies to catch a flick. Good times.
This year we stayed in North Carolina for Christmas and boy did we have fun. Thats right we finally have a fireplace yahoooooo.
We had a Christmas Eve service and it was rockin. Jade hanging out with her friends Madi and Gwen before the service.

My entire family ended up being on stage except me but I told Aaron that’s ok cause my stage design was up there with them. hehehe
Time for a quick bite to eat and then on to the first service.
Aaron ended up having 17 musicians and singers along with 30 kids on stage. Thats right my man is a stud.
After the second service it was on to our house to eat and play games. we had about thirty-five people ready to party and party we did.

This is probably the funnest Christmas Eve I have ever had and that is all thanks to our friends the Garniers for bringing over the Canadian Christmas game. Let me just explain what is involved first a dice is paced around and you must get the number six, once you get a six you then run and put on a hat, wrap a scarf around your neck one time and put a pair of over sized ski gloves on then it’s onto to unwrapping the over sized gift with everything on, sounds pretty easy right? wrong the gift has about ten different size boxes in it and they all need to be unwrapped the last one has a gift card the size of an envelope in it which usually requires your teeth to open it, still sounds easy, nope remember the dice is going around the room still and anyone who gets a six is ripping off the scarf and other accessories from you to open the gift. If this is not enough explanation for you, then this game is a you just have to see it to fully experience the CRAZYNESS…….

This Christmas Eve was definantly crazy fun. Thanks to all our friends who were brave enough to hang out with us crazy Californians.
This year we were invited to the Paines house for Thanksgiving. Friends, food and tons of fun.

After hiking in and having to cross over a really high railroad tracks we saw our cliffs and it was on, there was no turning back now. I think I might have thrown up a little in my mouth, yuk…..

The girls and I jumped but I got it on video so sorry you will not be able to see those. The thing that surprised me was Peri even jumped ok she jumped on 2 feet but I’m sure it was plenty scary. The day was over and it was time to go home and eat.
